FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: “Death Goes Pop” is a special exhibition of 50 individual 7” x 7” original acrylic and shellac paintings on wood by artist Mike Egan. It features portraits of pop culture icons done in the artist’s signature style. Using his usual palate of blood and death Mike created 50 original works in his very focused folk technique.

These creative interpretations include visages of comic book heroes, classic monsters, plus many favorite movie and cartoon stars. “Death Goes Pop” will be on display and for sale in the DKE Toys booth (#5045) at San Diego Comic-Con. The paintings will retail for $75 each and will go on sale on Thursday, July 18th.
