We’ve been watching Collection Intervention each week on the Syfy Channel. It’s fun to watch any show where your friends keep popping up!
In the first episode we were happy to see our friend and President/CEO of Rancho Obi-Wan, Steve Sansweet playing auctioneer in front of a great backdrop of Darth Vader helmets from The Vader Project that are part of his incredible Star Wars collection! (The first episode is available streaming for free on the Syfy website.)
And this week on Collection Intervention, DKE Crew Member and Transformers Expert, Jim Byrnes, looked very knowlegable for a few seconds. We love you Jim!
Speaking of collections, today is the last day to vote in the Designer Toy Awards. It’s quick and easy to vote. Just, hop over here, sign up, and vote on. Dov and I are nominated for Best Collection. We are very honored. And we admit, we do have a lot of stuff. But…we are not ready for any kind of Intervention.
The Super Suck Up! is coming November 3rd and artists are working on their tribute figures. Just posted a bunch of images to the Flickr. More info in our previous post here.

The Sucklord is clearly excited about “The Super Suck Up”. In an official statement he said, “It’s great that I’m baller enough that all these successful artists have to make my shit for me. All I have to do is design some shitty grafix and wait for the check. I love how DKE is pimping real artists for my benefit.”
